Though the music has died out in recent years - giving way to emptier storefronts and less community gather - 'Down in Davis' is on a mission to bring the good vibes home. With a focus on curating, promoting, and encouraging live music performances out in the square, the 'DiD' crew works to stop the commuters in their tracks, and ask them to stay a while in the square - and stay for a song.

Somerville's Davis Square has historically been a hotspot for live music and entertainment - a heartbeat of culture that filled the square with a vibrant energy. From busking to curated performances in bars, venues, and outdoors, Davis Square's congealed layout allows for the beats to rattle all about the square...especially on warm summer nights.
